Common questions

Which waste shipments does WasteTrack cover?
All EU cross-border movements. Annex VII documents for green-listed waste, and the notification and movement documents (Annex IA and IB) for orange and red list waste that needs prior consent. You can also track non-waste product shipments in the same dashboard.
Do I have to file waste shipments digitally now?
Yes. Since 21 May 2026 the EU Waste Shipment Regulation 2024/1157 requires cross-border waste shipment data to be exchanged digitally via DIWASS. Paper Annex VII documents remain valid as a fallback only until 31 December 2026. See our guide to the deadline.
Which countries does WasteTrack work in?
Every EU member state. DIWASS is the single EU-wide system, so a shipment from any member state to any other is filed the same way. The app is available in English, Dutch and French.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Your first shipment is free with all features and unlimited users. No credit card needed.
Can other companies on WasteTrack see my trade network?
No. Your address book of buyers, carriers and facilities lives in an encrypted vault that is isolated per account. No other account can see who you work with.
